Aims:

The VCP symposium aims to bring together those interested in development work, to share experiences among the participants on how to improve existing and future Village Concept Projects.

The main areas to be addressed during this symposium will be to increase the knowledge and skills of the participants in different aspects of curbing poverty in rural communities of developing countries, to set strategies on how VCP can contribute to HIV/AIDS prevention, to share experience and set strategies to increase access to medicine in rural areas of developing countries, and to share experience among the participants on how to improve agriculture and livestock sector.

Description:

Five day symposium which will take place in Bagamoyo, Tanzania from the 14th to 19th of September 2004.
